All we want for Christmas are three things:
Having quality family time at Christmas is essential part of the festive season. Laughing, cosying
up to watch Christmas films and enjoying a delicious meal with your nearest and dearest is what
makes Christmas. It’s always a delight to get together and enjoy a few days with those you care
about the most.
Christmas is the one time of year we can all relax and truly enjoy a little indulgence. Surrounded
by fabulous festive flavours and Christmassy treats, we’ll be filling ourselves up with chocolates,
pudding and above all, a hearty Christmas Dinner.
The Celtic Royal Christmas menu will be served right up until New Year, so if your home cooked turkey dinner
didn’t quite go to plan, you can always pop in and enjoy a no-fuss festive feast served up in our
Festive Food Fact: Noson Gyflaith, or Toffee Evening was a popular Welsh tradition in the 19th
Century. People would gather their family and friends on Christmas Eve to make toffee (or taffy),
play games and tell stories around the fire.
Going out might not be your thing for most of the year, but Christmas time is a great time to enjoy
some fun and frivolities with friends, family and colleagues. Getting all dressed up for an evening
of holiday celebrations is a great way to let off some steam and relax. We’ve loved seeing people
enjoying their Christmas parties here at the Celtic Royal, and have been especially impressed by
the Christmas jumpers we’ve seen our guests wearing too!

Christmas this year, tweet us @GwestyrCelt
It has been a fantastic year for us and we couldn’t have done it without you.
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas from all of us at The Celtic Royal.
I stayed at the hotel with my husband and 2 children 8 and 10. The room was comfortable, large and spotless, the communal spaces in the hotel had character and charm and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and efficient and the swimming pool a real added bonus. The proximity to the town was a wonderful bonus - 5 minutes walk to the castle and main square. Yes the decor in the room is a little dated, but this hotel represents fantastic value for money. There is so much to do in the area, it's a great base to climb Snowdon and visit the Zip World centres. We didn't have time to visit the Welsh Mountain Zoo or do the Railway - two nights in the area just wasn't enough. we can't wait to go again!
Lovely hotel with great facilities. Always stay here when in North Wales. Excellent facilities , good parking, just a short walk to the Castle , Marina and town centre. Staff are always helpful and pleasant.
