"We have just experienced 5 very enjoyable days at this hotel as part of a dancing group. This was our first visit and we were very favourably impressed.
The rooms were comfortable, clean, and the decor was pleasing. Special praise must be reserved for the catering at this hotel. The food was excellent and the choice of menu good. We found the waiting staff in the dining room most helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Similarly, the reception staff were equally helpful. It was also a relief to find ample parking space within the hotel grounds. The hotel's location quite close to the town centre was also convenient. For anyone wanting to explore the surrounding area, there was some lovely scenery in every direction.
We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to others - and would certainly come back."

"I stayed at the hotel as part of a large party on a weekend line dancing. The service was excellent throughout. Given that the hotel was so busy the attention to detail was fantastic. During the evening in the ballroom (with a really good dance floor), the jugs of iced water were regularly replenished - you never had to ask. The food was really good & the set menu had a range of four choices and everyone in our party (over a hundred) were quickly fed & served with efficiency. The pool is nice & the sauna room all clean and very easy to use. Breakfast was self service - plenty of healthy options or the full English (or both!)
The rooms were clean and although the furniture was standard, it did the job well enough. The bathroom was sparkling. All the staff were very helpful."
