The hotel is a three star, however in my humble opinion it is a four star. In this competitive world for our custom, it is nice to see a hotel that puts my needs first, and not profit. I felt special, in this locally contemporary designed building. Staff, food, and comfort were amongst the best I.d experienced in this beautiful part of the world, where you automatically feel you are in another, calmer world......Breakfast was help yourself - cereals full English, as much tea coffee and toast as you wanted you just asked and it arrived very promptly.
Lovely Hotel all round. Went with a group of friends on a dancing weekend. Food was excellent around five choices each for starter, mains and dessert at dinner. Breakfast was help yourself - cereals full English, as much tea coffee and toast as you wanted you just asked and it arrived very promptly.
Very Good hotel and even got a good rate. Room was warm, clean, well decorated and roomy. Staff were all friendly. Very good leisure facilities.
We hired the new "Castle Room" for 10 people. Beautifully decorated & no expense spared. The food was delicious ..couldn't fault anything. The staff are excellent & couldn't do enough for us. I shall certainly be booking the table again very soon.
The budget was £100 per night. I cannot lie...it was a challenge but Celtic Royal lived up to that challenge on every single level. Spotless clean, faultless service, spacious comfortable bedrooms with quality furniture. The pool, gym and spa area were great and the food was beautiful in a gorgeous dining room. Last but not least the bar entertainment turned our lovely break into an unforgettable experience as we were serenaded by Welshmen who would give Sir Tom a run for his money.
Guest Room 240.
Just spent the last two days at a Rotary Conference at the Celtic Royal. Excellent accommodation, food and conference facilities. All at the Conference commented on how friendly and efficient the staff were. Nothing was too much trouble for them Director Markus Donsbach is to be congratulated on the standard of his staff at the Celtic Royal.
